Nina Mills is a local artist to Chichester, West Sussex, England. As a young adult, she studied Art at school and has tried various art forms over the years, including mosaic, water colour, pottery and silk painting. Nina became fascinated by the effects of light through different coloured glass and, over more recent years, has developed her unique styles, techniques and design of glass painting.
Nina’s glass painting skills and designs are developed and created mainly through a love of nature, natural shapes and movement in flowers, leaves, oceans and landscapes.
Receiving commissions is always an exciting time for Nina. After initial meetings and discussions, her clients are always happy to leave the final design to Nina. It’s exciting for her as she is able to incorporate favourite styles of art, including abstract, modern and, occasionally, aboriginal art, which holds a fascination to her.
